Rev. Devon Earle, Board Member
Devon became an Adirondack 46er in 2007 after spending five years hiking the forty-six peaks over 4,000 feet in the Upstate New York. It was on those trails that she developed a passion for the outdoors and a deep sense of spirituality in the midst of creation. In 2015, when Devon graduated from Duke Divinity School with her Master of Divinity and was appointed as the Associate Pastor at Fairlington United Methodist Church in Alexandria, she brought this passion to Northern Virginia. Fairlington became the pilot church for Spirituality in Nature Groups and Devon continues to find ways to integrate creation into her ministry.
Not only does Devon enjoy hiking, but she and her husband Rob also enjoy rock climbing, biking, snowboarding, and finding green space in the midst of urban living. Devon is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and has experience working in a variety of ministry settings, from children’s homes to hospitals to rural and urban churches.
