The Spiritual Wisdom of Trees: Insights from Our Elders explores the ancient spiritual and ecological wisdom that trees offer for living into deep connections with our human and non-human brothers and sisters, Earth and Divine Mystery. Each of the 6 sessions contains a beautifully filmed 15-20 minute video and spiritual practice & reflection guide around a specific theme, including: • Cracking Open • Collaboration & Communion • Light & Dark • Bearing Witness • Hope & Healing • Gratitude & Reciprocity A final session, Going Forward, offers some guidance on how to integrate the wisdom of trees into your daily life and that of your community. Originally designed as a 6-week course, in this program format, you have the freedom to work through the course at your own pace. Course materials will be open to you for 1 year from the time you begin. She is an active speaker, writer, and leader of numerous programs that offer spiritual guidance for developing deep, sustained, loving relationships with nature. • Leah Rampy, Ph.D., brings extensive experience in leading contemplative programs & retreats; she teaches at Shalem Institute and is the founder & guide for Church of the Wild Two Rivers. She is the author of the award-winning "Earth & Soul: Reconnecting amid Climate Chaos" and a frequent speaker on spiritual ecology and leadership in these uncertain times. • Jane Pittman is an award-winning director, cinematographer and editor with work on PBS and film festivals around the world.
